As a lightweight OS designed primarily for web and app-based computing, it is fast, secure, and resilient to viruses and malware. Hopefully, Google will fix this bug soon. I then, in the Mac settings, revert the display to the default resolution for the display, which fixes the fuzziness but also does not reintroduce the cursor tracking offset problem. ![]() First, I connect with "Resize to fit", which changes the Mac resolution and results in a very fuzzy display, but with correct cursor tracking. ![]() I did, interestingly, manage to find a way to temporarily fix the tracking, though it has to be done every time I connect. Note that when connecting to Linux or Windows machines, this cursor tracking issue does not occur. Has anyone else been experiencing anything similar? With the old app, and with not using "Resize to fit" in the new app, the display is razor sharp - with all the usual Retina/HiDPI sweetness. If I select "Resize to fit", the cursor alignment/tracking is perfect, and the overlay cursors are also not as huge as usual (an odd quirk about using CRD with Mac OS-X) HOWEVER, the screen is terribly fuzzy. The overlay cursor is several inches away from the actual Mac cursor. If I do not select the "Resize to fit" (which I never used previously), leaving the Macbook at the default for the display, the cursor tracking is off by roughly a quarter of the screen width, where the remote Mac cursor position is not sync'd with the client cursor overlay. The new web app has a slightly different UI, and I can't say I'm much of a fan of the always present blue tab overlay for accessing the options, but overall, it works well enough, and similarly enough to the previous app that I'm not entirely unhappy with it.Įxcept for when connecting to Mac OS-X on a Macbook Pro.
